Dornier 328 Aircraft

The 32 seat Dornier 328 Turbo Prop aircraft is a German technologically advanced regional turboprop airliner that offers high cruising speeds and advanced systems. The 328 was designed to replace existing 18 to 30 seat turboprops, and it offers outstanding field performance in short runways, allowing carriers to bring airline service to new markets.

The 328 designs incorporates an all new fuselage section for three abreast seating (offering more width per passenger than the Boeing 737).

Composite materials are used to reduce weight and the blades on the Hartzell props are composite. The flight deck features a five screen Honeywell Primus 2000 EFIS avionics system, while with heads-up displays, the 328 can be qualified for Cat IIIa landings.

The Dornier 328 aircraft out performs all of its rivals, not only by its excellent design that allows operators to be highly flexible and innovative with their services, but also in the aircraft’s performance comparison, which is one of the most important aspect when viewing operational costs. It outperforms its competitors in take off field length performance, time to climb performance, block fuel performance, and block time performance.

The Dornier 328 aircraft offers excellent accommodation and comfort to passengers: More room per passenger than any other regional jet, a wide-body cross section, a full standing height of 1,88m, the widest aisle in its class, seating for up to 32 passengers, generous seating space with plenty of shoulder and legroom.
